Family Learning courses

Are you a parent or carer who wants to know what your child is learning and how you can help them?

The Family Learning team run free, online courses and workshops across Buckinghamshire.

Our courses will help you understand how to support your children with their learning.

Courses will give you confidence and resources to support your children at home, making learning fun as well as understanding new teaching methods used in schools.

We offer a range of Early Years courses and workshops for you and your children from 18 months to five years. Particularly focusing on building early language and learning through play. These include, among others: Play and Learn, Story Explorers, Confident Me and Little Music Makers.

If your child is at school, our online courses are for parents only (Reception to Year 6) and cover English, maths and science. For Reception to Year 9 will also run courses and workshops to help your child’s wellbeing.
