ALDD Green Street Learners cook up curry to raise £160 for Wycombe Homeless Connection

ALDD learners at Green Street Adult Learning Centre have raised £160 for the Wycombe Homeless Connection by cooking curry. They have been focusing on community participation this term and decided they wanted to help a homeless charity. They held a curry day selling their delicious creations to other learners, family, friends and staff and Sheena from Wycombe Homeless Connection came along to tell them about the charity and other ways we can help. Special thanks go to the Co-op Food in Hazlemere for donating all the ingredients and Costa Coffee for donating the coffee cups.
