The Great Get Together – Friday 21 June 2019

Please join us on Friday 21 June 2019 from 12.30 to 3pm at Quarrendon Adult Learning Centre, Holman Street, Aylesbury, HP19 9LJ for a Great Get Together, a shared lunch to celebrate that we have more in common.

Bring a friend or neighbour, meet new people and celebrate kindness, respect and all we have in common. Please bring a plate of food to share. Families welcome and children’s activities planned.

Enter our #moreincommon competition.

Design a ‘more in common’ presentation, e.g. poster, video, powerpoint etc. Tell us about the things you have in common with people in your community rather than the things that divide you e.g. hobbies, food, education, sport, family…
Entries to be submitted by 12pm on Thursday 20 June at Quarrendon ALC Reception or email to hgillespie@buckscc.gov.uk. All entries will be displayed and the winner will be awarded a prize on the day.

The Great Get Together was founded in 2017 by the family and friends of Jo Cox, who wanted to celebrate her commitment to bringing communities together with street parties, sports days, BBQs, picnics and coffee mornings.
