Marie Biswell and the Mayor of Aylesbury

Congratulations to our sign language tutor Marie Biswell who has been recognised as a ‘community star’ by the Mayor of Aylesbury.

Marie was awarded with a certificate of appreciation for her hard work during the pandemic. She has been holding virtual signing sessions for members of the public with much-loved stories and songs, while fundraising for local charities.

Marie now holds Lockdown Sign Song sessions on the last Saturday of every month. More information can be found here: Hand Talking | Facebook

Marie is holding a free, online British Sign Language taster session on Saturday 18 June from 1-2pm and her British Sign Language courses will be starting again from September in Aylesbury, Iver and Winslow.
